Join Wendy Busse, MSc, RD and your fellow TCME professional members as we discuss food sensitivity-restricted diet culture. The small group interaction will give you an opportunity to ask questions, discuss challenging cases, share your viewpoints, and get to know other professionals working in this field. Wendy will also share her theory on how the pervasive restricted diet messages create conditioned food sensitivities.

About the Author

Wendy is a registered dietitian from Alberta, Canada. She has worked in food sensitivity for over 25-years. Initially, her interest was the science of food allergy. As she started working in this area, she was drawn to understanding the mind-body connection and helping “grey” zone clients – individuals that do not fit neatly into any clinical practice guidelines and often fall through the cracks of our medical system. This led her on a journey to develop the Food Avoidance & Sensitivity Trap (FAST) model and the theory of conditioned food sensitivity. Currently, she is the director of the FAST Freedom Program. Wendy and her team help food sensitive clients make peace with food and expand their diet.
